Mario Williams catching the red eye

The Bills' star defensive end sported some spooky contact lenses Sunday against the Chiefs

Mario Williams was late for Halloween.

The Bills' star defensive end sported some spooky contact lenses Sunday against the Chiefs -- a brutal 17-13 loss at home. It certainly was tough to see his stop-sign red eyes during the action, but cameras were able to zoom in on his creepy irises a few times on the sideline.

Three and out: Sal breaks down the loss

Williams did account for one of the Bills' six sacks of Alex Smith on Sunday. He now has a sack in six straight games, which is the longest streak for a Bill since Aaron Schobel also had a six-game streak in 2006.

The Bills' loss was a devastating one. With both teams entering the game at 5-3 and in the playoff conversation, Buffalo looked like it would emerge the victor. But costly mistakes down the stretch meant the team enters Thursday's game in Miami with an enormous amount of pressure.

Buffalo's December schedule is brutal (Denver, Green Bay, Oakland, New England) -- only three of the best teams in the NFL -- so November is seen as a time to rack up the wins. Sunday didn't help.

Tune in Thursday to see if Williams will still be seeing red.
