CLEVELAND — A familiar face in Buffalo is now said to be calling the plays for the Cleveland Browns.

In a post made to X (formerly Twitter) by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, he wrote "A major change for the #Browns: Coach Kevin Stefanski announces that OC Ken Dorsey will now call plays."

Ken Dorsey was with the Buffalo Bills Organization as their offensive coordinator from 2022 to 2023. In November 2023, the Bills announced Dorsey's termination after a 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos.

In that game under Dorsey's play calling, Allen committed three of Buffalo’s four turnovers and the offense was held under 26 points for a sixth straight game to match the longest stretch since the quarterback’s rookie season in 2018.

In January of 2024 there had been reports of the Browns picking up Dorsey as their new offensive coach, replacing Alex Van Pelt.

This news also comes a week after the Browns traded WR Amari Cooper to the Bills. The Buffalo Bills do not face the Browns in their regular season schedule.
