Josh Allen named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September

This will be Allen's third overall Offensive Player of the Month award.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — He has been voted biggest trash talker, most overrated quarterback, and more but most recently announced today, Josh Allen is the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month for September.

Allen has carried the Bills so far this season to a 3-1 record, and this will be his 3rd overall Offensive Player of the Month award. Allen won the award twice in his 2020 season.

In an article from the Bills they said "Allen's playmaking ability was on full display, leading all AFC quarterbacks in offensive touchdowns (9), passer rating (116.5), passing touchdown-interception ratio (7-0) and total passing touchdowns (7)."

"Yeah, he's been very consistent in his performance on the field, consistent in his approach, consistent in his just willingness to take what the defense is giving him," head Coach Sean McDermott said before their game against the Ravens. "And I think that's probably the biggest thing I've witnessed over the course of the first three games of the season. Season's young, and so I'm looking forward to how he's going to continue to do that… his maturation, his development has been fun to watch."

Last week, Allen as named the NFL's AFC Offensive Player of the Week following the Bills' win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football.
