ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills kept their playoff hopes alive after beating the New England Patriots on Sunday 27-21.
Now, Buffalo has one more game left in the regular season, which is slated against the Miami Dolphins. It's a winner-takes-all matchup for the AFC East division title.
With all the AFC games completed for Week 17, here's a look at the Bills' current playoff scenarios heading into Week 18.
According to ESPN, Buffalo has a 97% chance to make the playoffs after their win over the Patriots.
If Buffalo beats Miami in Week 18, the Bills clinch the AFC East for the fourth consecutive season along with the number two seed in the AFC.
If the Dolphins beat the Bills in Week 18, Buffalo would require outside help to potentially grab a playoff spot. The Bills would need either a Steelers or Jaguars loss or a tie between the Texans and Colts to still secure a wild-card berth.
Depending on the results of the remainder of the week 18 games, Buffalo could potentially face the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, or the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs if they beat the Dolphins.
