Bills, Spencer Brown agree to 4-year contract extension

The deal will keep the Bills' starting right tackle in Buffalo through the 2028 season.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Spencer Brown will continue helping to protect Josh Allen in Buffalo for years to come.

The Bills starting right tackle signed a four-year contract extension, the team announced Friday. The deal keeps Brown, entering his fourth year with the Bills, in Buffalo through the 2028 season.

A third round pick out of Northern Iowa in 2021, Brown is coming off his best season as a Bill. In 2023, he started all 17 games at right tackle on an offensive line that stood out as a unit, allowing the fewest amount of sacks in the NFL (24).

Brown earned a 68.1 grade from Pro Football Focus for his 2023 season, and ranked tied for 23rd among tackles with five sacks allowed.

Over the course of his three seasons in Buffalo, Brown has made 41 starts in 44 games played.
