The league on Thursday released a list of "NFL legends and active players" who will announce selections.

Williams, a defensive back, was drafted by Buffalo in 2011. He spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Bills, finishing with 257 tackles, seven interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble that he returned for a touchdown.

In addition to Williams, Pro Football Hall of Famers such as wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Isaac Bruce, defensive back Darrell Green, quarterback Warren Moon, and running back Barry Sanders will also announce draft picks during the three-day event.

"In addition to announcing NFL Draft selections, players will be on-site to mentor the prospects and give back to the city of Detroit through participation in a variety of community service events," the NFL said in a statement Thursday afternoon, hours before the start of the draft.
