Bills make first round of roster cuts and transactions

The Bills made their first round of roster cuts and transactions on Sunday evening. The team has until Tuesday at 4 p.m. to trim its roster from 90 players to 53.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills made their first round of roster cuts and transactions on Sunday evening. All 32 teams in the league have to get from 90 players to 53 before 4 p.m. on Tuesday. 

The Bills started that process on Sunday by releasing seven players across the board. 

  •  QB Anthony Brown
  • WR Damiere Byrd
  • OL Kevin Jarvis
  • DE Rondell Bothroyd
  • LB Shayne Simon
  • LB Deion Jones
  • CB Kyron Brown

The team also announced a pair of roster transactions on Sunday as well. The Bills placed both safety Terrel Burgess and safety Dee Delaney on injured reserve.
