ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills linebacker Tyrel Dodson and safety Taylor Rapp have been fined by the NFL for unnecessary roughness penalties that happened during last Sunday's Week 15 home victory against the Dallas Cowboys.
Rapp was fined $21,855 for first-quarter penalty during Buffalo's 31-10 win at Highmark Stadium, while Dodson was fined $11,167 for his second-quarter flag.
Rapp's fine tied the largest of the week handed out by the NFL. Other players fined $21,855 this week included Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley for unnecessary roughness, and New York Jets offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson, also for for unnecessary roughness.
The NFL announces player fines each Saturday afternoon during the regular season. This week there were 14 plays resulting in fines for on-field discipline.
