Bills fans attempt to shovel path to victory vs. Chiefs

Shovelers were paid $20 an hour and were supplied food and drinks. There was also an area for them to warm up during breaks.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Hundreds continued to answer the call Saturday to dig out Highmark Stadium.

After more than five feet of snow fell in the stands, the team's vice president of operations said twice as many shovelers turned out than expected. About an hour-and-a half after people started showing up Saturday morning, the Bills announced they didn't need anymore help.

"We'll we're going to shovel out this stadium so we can have the game tomorrow," Bills fan Ron Brogan said. "Bills Mafia. We're live. We're willing to help. Whatever it takes for our team."">

Added John O'Lear: "Just coming out to help the Bills, you know. Shovel out the stadium to beat Kansas City."
