ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills cornerback Cam Lewis has been fined by the NFL for a penalty that happened during a Week 14 victory at the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lewis was fined $6,305 for unsportsmanlike conduct late in the third quarter of Buffalo's 20-17 victory, on a punt return by the Chiefs where he made the tackle. This marks the first time Lewis has been fined this season.
The NFL announces player fines each Saturday afternoon during the regular season. This week there were 23 plays resulting in fines for on-field discipline.
The largest fine for NFL players this week — at $21,855 — was handed out to two players. Cincinnati's Trey Hendrickson was fined that amount for a hit on a quarterback, while Tennessee's Amani Hooker was flagged for unnecessary roughness.
