Bills-themed beverage will help raise money for Ronald McDonald House chapters

The money raised from the partnership will go toward housing, meals, and additional resources for families who have children receiving medical treatment.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A special Buffalo Bills-themed beverage will soon help raise money for Ronald McDonald House chapters across the state.

A limited-edition drink called Buffalo Chill is currently being sold at participating McDonald's. Twenty five cents from each sale will benefit Ronald McDonald House chapters in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany when purchased from May 24 through June 7,.

The money raised from the partnership will go toward housing, meals, and additional resources for families who have children receiving medical treatment.

The drink will be available all summer, and at any size, for $1.99. It will have the Bills' familiar blue and red, created by layers of frozen blue raspberry and wild cherry flavors.

"We are beyond thrilled to add this frozen beverage to our menu for Buffalo Bills fans," Buffalo McDonald’s owner and operator Dave Singelyn said in a statement, announcing the fundraising effort.

"We have been eager to release the Buffalo Chill for quite some time, and now with our Bills partnership, fans can finally enjoy it while also supporting local Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping families in need. As local McDonald’s owners, our commitment to supporting (Ronald McDonald House charities) runs deep, and it is a privilege to provide funds that help our local chapters provide a home away from home for those who need it most."
