ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills activated running back Leonard Fournette from the practice squad ahead of their Sunday Night Football game in Miami against the Dolphins.
Fournette made his first appearance for the Bills on Dec. 23, when he ran five times for 20 yards during a 24-22 victory at the Los Angeles Chargers. He was not active last week, during a 27-21 win against the New England Patriots.
Fournette played three seasons in Jacksonville, then four seasons in Tampa Bay before signing with the Bills on Oct. 30.
Last season with the Buccaneers, he played 16 games and finished with 668 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bills on Sunday night announced that Von Miller was active, after being a healthy scratch in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Miami announced that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert will both miss their second straight game with injuries. Cornerback Xavien Howard was already ruled out Friday.
