BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Bills-Dolphins Sunday Night Football game in Miami will be the most important game of the season for the Bills, and many fans are trying to plan last minute trips to be there in person.
According to Stub Hub, the game is the best-selling game of the week in the NFL. Thirty-six percent of ticket buyers are coming from Florida, and 22% are from New York State.
There are more than 1300 tickets available on StubHub right now, and prices start at around 260 dollars, which prices similar over on TicketMaster.
Getting to Hard Rock Stadium could be expensive and time-consuming for fans.
According to AAA, you'll be paying premium prices based on last minute bookings and availability to fly to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Many of the lower priced seats are already sold out, and that also goes for returning flights on Monday.
That's because this was always a popular trip on the Bills schedule this season, and many people booked early.
"What we're seeing is some people said we want to be there, they saw the schedule come out, they saw the Miami game in January and they're like, we're booking it because we can go there, it will be warmer, we'll be able to cheer on the team, there's a rivalry with Miami, it will be great," Public Relations Director Elizabeth Carey said. "Then what we saw was after the Bills beat the Patriots and the significance of this weekend's game came into play, a lot of people saying, how can I get myself down there, I want to be a part of this."
Carey says hotels are readily available starting at $175 dollars a night, and of course driving to South Florida is always an option.
The trip will take you 19 hours, but the gas will only cost about $167.
