ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have made a trade before the 4 p.m. deadline on Tuesday.
Just about 15 minutes before the cutoff, ESPN reported that the Green Bay Packers traded cornerback Rasul Douglas and a fifth-round pick to the Bills in exchange for a third-round pick. The team later confirmed to social media Tuesday afternoon, making it official.
The move will help the Bills defensively, after losing cornerback Tre'Davious White to a torn Achilles during week four.
Douglas, 29, joins the team with 32 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one interception on the year.
He was drafted 99th overall in the third round of the 2017 draft. Throughout his career, Douglas has played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, and most recently the Green Bay Packers.
