PITTSFORD, N.Y. — It's no secret the Bills receiver room looks entirely different than it did just a year ago.

After an off-season of major turnover losing both leading receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis who combined for a total of 241 targets last year, the question of who is going to step into that number one role remains.

However, it's really a question that may never have to get answered because of Joe Brady's new offensive mentality: "Everybody eats."

"There's been days where there's not a lot of targets for me and there's days where there are but that's kind of the fun part of this offense," Bills tight end Dawson Knox said. "Everyone is gonna eat at some point and you know you might have a route that you might not ever get the ball on but your job is taking away a safety to open up something underneath or whether it's blocking on the perimeter blocking for our running backs."

"Nobody cares who eats," Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins said. "As long as everybody has a plate. It doesn't matter. So and so's plate is bigger today we know at some point your plate's gonna be big. Just be ready to eat when it comes."

It's a pretty selfless approach to fit an offense filled with varied skill sets and versatile weapons.

"Our saying is everybody eats on this offense and everybody is going to eat," Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid said. "So if it's a game I catch ten passes, awesome. If it's a game I catch zero passes, it's awesome, as long as we're winning."

"It's really fun because you never really know how many balls you might get thrown to you but when they come your way, you just gotta make a play," Knox said. "In terms of the whole offense, it's fun cause everybody eats."

As camp continues this week at St. John Fisher University, the pads come on and the action gets real all starting on Monday morning.
