ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — In August the Buffalo Bills linebacker had to face the disappointing news that he wouldn't be returning to the field after making a comeback from a previous seasons injury, this time due to a bicep injury in the pre-season.
Prior to his bicep injury, Matt Milano had a broken leg that kept him from the final 12 games of the 2023-24 season.
On Monday, Coach Sean McDermott said that Milano's practice window has now opened up.
According to the Buffalo Bills website, "The Bills are opening the 21-day practice window for LB Matt Milano (bicep), who has been on IR since the beginning of the season. Milano won't be available to play this Sunday vs. the Chiefs but the Bills do expect Milano to return soon."
"He's done a phenomenal job with, along with our trainers, of getting back to where he can get back out there," McDermott said. "Really, just take it one day and one week at a time, and those guys are going to reassess towards the end of the week and see where he's at, and then what the next week may hold for him."
