BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's his third year in the league but a season of firsts for Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White as the honors keep pouring in.
This time, he was named first-team Associated Press All-Pro for the first time in his career.
White continues to show why he's one of, if not the best player on the Bills. All season he's made big time, clutch, late-game plays. He has a career-high six interceptions which is tied for most in the NFL.
He was named to his first Pro Bowl as well and has yet to give up a touchdown all season.
White has constantly shut down opposing team's best receivers including Odell Beckham Jr. in Cleveland and now faces his biggest test this year with Texans wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins.
It's round two of this matchup as they went against each other last year in a 20-13 Texans win in Houston, but White did a great job that time around. He limited Hopkins to just 63 yards and the touchdown he did have was a ridiculous, perfectly timed catch over White. Only two of Hopkins five catches came when White was in coverage.
That's going to be a huge matchup to watch as the Bills take on the Texans in Saturday's Wild Card round.
