ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen is no stranger to playing through pain and discomfort. His shoulder has had him on the injury report for the majority of the season.
He continues to deal with neck soreness as the Bills prepare to face the Miami Dolphins Sunday night in South Florida with the AFC East title on the line.
Allen suffered a stinger on a run play late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 27-21 win over the New England Patriots in Orchard Park.
Allen and the Buffalo offense have not been as explosive or productive as they have been in the past, but Buffalo has won five of six games since firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and replacing him to with Joe Brady earlier this season.
A win at Miami Sunday night would give the Bills a fourth straight division title and make them the AFC's two-seed in the upcoming playoffs. A loss, and they would need either Jacksonville or Pittsburgh to lose, or a tie between Houston and Indianapolis in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Buffalo has beaten Miami 10 of the last 11 times they have faced them.
