AMHERST, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo women's soccer team will play at No. 4 Pitt in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday after winning its second Mid-American Conference championship on Sunday, with a 2-0 victory over Ball State, to punch its automatic ticket.
The Bulls have been on a hot streak, starting before the conference tournament. They are in the middle of a program-record 17 straight unbeaten streak. Buffalo finished the season 15-1-4 and 7-0-4 in the conference.
