BUFFALO, N.Y.- Longtime Channel 2 sportscaster, Ed Kilgore, is one of 12 inductees into the 2014 Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame class.
Kilgore was the face of Channel 2 Sports for 40 years. He joined WGRZ in 1973 as a weekend sports anchor and became sports director the following year.
Kilgore hosted several shows, including Sabres TV broadcasts from 1977 to 1987 and the The Jim Kelly Show from 1987 to 1997. And, he wrote a book in 2010, As I've Seen It: Wide Right, No Goal and Other Buffalo Sports Sagas.
