You don't even have to be a huge baseball fan to enjoy a game of Banana Ball.

“The entertainment. I just love the entertainment. They get the crowd involved. It's really fun and exciting,” Kwitzer said.

The arrival of the Bananas has been highly anticipated by not only fans here in Buffalo, but from fans all over. 2 On Your Side talked with fans who traveled hours from neighboring states, such as Ohio, just to be at the game today.

Other fans just came early just to enjoy the hype ahead of what they isn't just a game, it's an all out show.

"I'm excited. So this is the second or third year in a row that I've tried to get tickets through the lottery, and this is the first year that they're in Buffalo, so I'm just super lucky to be picked, and going with some great friends and family tonight," John Carvallo said.

It hasn't been easy for fans in Buffalo to secure a ticket to any of the three Banana Ball games. That's just mostly due to the sheer volume of people excited about the Bananas making their way to Sahlen field for the first time ever.

About 45,000 tickets have been sold across all three games happening this weekend.
