Who is Joe Brady? Buffalo Bills interim Offensive Coordinator

Brady was serving as the team's quarterback coach before being named the interim offensive coordinator.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Following the news of the Buffalo Bills firing their offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, many fans may now be wondering; who is Joe Brady?

The organization shared along with Dorsey's firing that the Florida native would be the interim replacement in the meantime.

Brady joined the Bills team as the Quarterback's Coach in 2022 after spending 2 seasons as the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator during the 2020-2021 season. He also was an offensive assistant in 2017-2018 for the New Orleans Saints.

He got his shot in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints back in 2017 as their offensive assistant. His coaching career started at The College of William & Mary for two years, followed by another two years with Penn State.

After his time with the Saints, he joined Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow at LSU and helped lead the team to their College Football Playoff national championship in 2019.

Brady's most recent stint as an offensive coordinator was with the Carolina Panthers during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. During his time with Carolina, the offense ranked 21st and 24th in yards and points in 2020, and 30th and 29th in 2021.

It is unsure when the search for a permanent coordinator will take place or who it may be.
