With a low-scoring, defensive battle expected against the Steelers, it was likely going to come down to the quarterbacks and who could do enough to win the game.
Josh Allen needed to be better than Devlin Hodges and he certainly was. Allen led another fourth quarter comeback, this time in Pittsburgh to beat the Steelers, 17-10 that clinched a playoff spot for the second time in three years.
Allen's punched in the Bills first score as he ran for a one-yard touchdown. Then the Steelers rallied and Buffalo went into the fourth quarter down 10-7.
Stephen Hauschka tied the game at 10 and with 7:55 left in regulation, Allen found Tyler Kroft for the go-ahead touchdown. That was just Kroft's fifth catch as a Buffalo Bill and it was a big one.
That scoring drive started with a 40-yard pass to John Brown. Allen went 13-25 for 139 yards and a touchdown. He also threw an interception.
