BUFFALO, N.Y. — Canisius High School and St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute held an outdoor hockey game at Buffalo RiverWorks for a special cause.

The Crusaders' varsity hockey team wanted to do something extra special for their Military Appreciation night, and it ended up doing just that.

Canisius created a camouflage jersey specifically for their themed game, which can be seen here.

Both teams encouraged fans to contribute a $5 admission fee as the proceeds went towards WNY Heroes, which assists veterans in our local community.
