CLYMER, NY- Chesson Hadley held off Beau Hossler to win the Web.com Tour's 2017 LECOM Health Challenge on The Upper Course at Peek n' Peak.
Hadley shot 7-under on the final day to finish 23-under par for the tournament, defeating Hossler by one stroke.
Back in 2013, Hadley had a breakout season on the Web.com Tour. He earned his PGA Tour card and went on to become the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2014.
Hadley won the Puerto Rico Open that year but had not won a tournament since then.
Three years and three months to the day, he is a champion once again.
Hadley's third career victory on the Web.com Tour did not come easy, though.
On Hole 16, he clung to a one stroke lead. His birdie putt rolled down the back of the green. So, he needed to make an uphill chip to save par and stay in the lead.
Buckets.
Hadley is back in the win column and he's heading back to the PGA Tour.
Perhaps, his win at Peek n' Peak is a sign of good things to come for the 30-year-old husband and father of two.
