BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane will miss the last five game of the regular season with an upper body injury, the team announced on Thursday.
Kane missed Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss in Pittsburgh with the injury.
Kane played 65 games in his first season with the Sabres, scoring 20 goals and recording 15 assists.
Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma also announced on Thursday that forward Tyler Ennis could return to the lineup before the season ends. Ennis has only played 23 games this season due to injury. Ennis is currently skating on his own but could return to practice soon.
