BUFFALO, NY - With the NHL trade deadline less than six weeks away, trade talks and rumors continue to heat up and the big name for the Sabres to watch once again is Evander Kane.
After years of speculation it seems Kane's time in Buffalo is coming to an end.
"Things are probably going to happen with the position we're in as a team and it's something I'm aware of but I'm just taking it one day at a time and one game at a time," Kane said.
Kane is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
So far this season, he has 16 goals and 36 points, good for second on the team behind Jack Eichel.
