Daemen women's soccer selected for the NCAA tournament

For the first time ever the Wildcats were selected to play in the NCAA tournament.

AMHERST, N.Y. — Monday night the Daemen women's soccer team made history. For the first time ever the Wildcats were selected to play in the NCAA tournament.

Daemen missed the playoffs in the East Coast Conference but were selected for an at large bid in the tournament. The Wildcats will play at St. Rose Friday night at 6 p.m.

The teams met during the regular season with St. Rose posting a 3-to-1 win.

Daemen finished the season with a record of 11-3-3.
