BUFFALO, N.Y. — A former Williamsville North student and standout athlete grabbed the microphone and sang the national anthem Saturday at the LA Bowl. He also served as the official host of the game.
You might have heard of him. His name is Rob Gronkowski, and as is often the case on or off the field, there was no missing his presence.
Gronkowski played football at Williamsville North before finishing his high school career at Woodland Hills, which is located in suburban Pittsburgh. He won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, then followed quarterback Tom Brady to Tampa Bay, where he won one more with the Buccaneers.
