BUFFALO, N.Y. — Marcus Millender's 15 points helped the South Alabama men's basketball team defeat the Buffalo Bulls 70-56 on Saturday.
Millender had three steals for the Jaguars (1-1). Isiah Gaiter scored 13 points while going 4 of 7 and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Maxwell Land had 12 points and shot 5 for 9, including 2 for 6 from beyond the arc.
The Bulls (0-2) were led by Sy Chatman, who posted 16 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Kanye Jones added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists for Buffalo.
