MUNCIE, Ind. — The Buffalo Bulls women's basketball team traveled to Ball State on Wednesday for their third conference matchup of the season against the Cardinals.
Chellia Watson put up 28 points for the Bulls, who dropped their third MAC game of the season, 67-62, to the Ball State Cardinals.
UB started the game with a huge offensive run, putting up 27 points in the first quarter and taking an 18-point lead. The Cardinals responded immediately, though, dropping 24 points in the second and bringing the score back within four points at the half.
From there, it was all Ball State. The Cardinals continued their momentum into the second half, as they scored 34 points to Buffalo's 25.
UB finished the night with a 42.1% field goal percentage, going 24-57, but their 13 total turnovers ended up being a big factor in the Cardinals' comeback.
