OLEAN, N.Y. — Moses Flowers' 25 points helped the Saint Bonaventure men's basketball team defeat Binghamton 90-64 on Friday night.
Flowers shot 8 for 13 (5 for 8 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free throw line for the Bonnies (8-3). Mika Adams-Woods scored 14 points while going 5 of 9 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 3 for 4 from the line, and added six assists. Charles Pride was 5 of 7 shooting (3 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 13 points.
The Bearcats (7-5) were led by Tymu Chenery, who posted 14 points. Dan Petcash added 10 points. Symir Torrence also recorded nine points, six rebounds and nine assists.
Canisius Golden Griffins:
Duke Miles' 17 points helped High Point defeat Canisius 78-70 on Friday night.
Miles shot 5 for 10 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free throw line for the Panthers (10-4). Kimani Hamilton scored 14 points while going 4 of 8 and 6 of 7 from the free throw line, and added eight rebounds. Abdoulaye had 12 points and shot 5 of 9 from the field.
The Golden Griffins (6-6) were led in scoring by Tre Dinkins, who finished with 25 points and four assists. Frank Mitchell added 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Canisius. In addition, Siem Uijtendaal had 12 points, three steals and two blocks.
