Buffalo Bisons host a single-admission doubleheader today, which tickets are still accepted

This comes after Tuesday's game was postponed due to rain.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Today the Buffalo Bisons are hosting a single-admission doubleheader after Tuesday’s game was postponed due to rain.

The Herd are hosting the Rochester Red Wings starting at 12:35 p.m. with gates opening at noon. Fans will only need one ticket to watch both games. Tickets from August 6 can be exchanged and August 7 tickets are also valid.

Both games will only be seven innings per doubleheader rules in Minor League Baseball.

6-year MLB veteran Paolo Espino will take the mound for the Bisons for game 1. Former New York Yankees first-round pick James Kaprielian will pitch in game 2. Espino has a 1-4 record with a 5.09 ERA. Kaprielian has five starts for the Herd, going 0-1 with a 7.58 ERA.

The Red Wings boast former Yankee Joey Gallo and Washington National Joey Meneses. In eight games for the Red Wings, Gallo has a .833 OPS with 3 home runs and 7 RBI.
