BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you bring cash to Sahlen Field this summer, get ready to strike out.
The Bisons announced Friday, Sahlen Field will be cashless for concessions, merchandise, vending and at the Consumer’s Pub at the Park restaurant this year.
Team officials say all major American and Canadian credit cards and US debit cards, along with digital payments, will be accepted.
Cash can still be used at the box office.
Any existing ‘Bisons Bucks’ held by fans are also still valid but will have to be exchanged at a designated area inside the ballpark for a Bisons Gift Card of the same value.
