BILLS VS. JETS - METLIFE STADIUM, EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ
FIRST QUARTER
The Bills come out and score in two plays. On the first play from scrimmage, Matt Barkley goes up top to Robert Foster down the right sideline for a gain of 48-yards. They went to the ground on the next play and LeSean McCoy goes 28-yards for his first touchdown of the season and a 7-0 lead for Buffalo. The teams trade punts on the following two possessions. The Bills defense remains strong to start the game. Jordan Poyer with a sack of Josh McCown to force the second three and out of the game for the Jets. The Bills reach into the bag of tricks and beautifully execute a fake punt. Logan Thomas hit Foster on the play and Buffalo was able to turn it into points. Barkley hit Zay Jones on a 10-yard pass. Jones fumbled near the goal line and Jason Croom was able to recover in the end zone for the score and a 14-0 lead. The defense forces another three and out. Barkley continues to go to the air hitting Zay Jones for a gain of 33 as the first quarter comes to an end.
SECOND QUARTER
Stephen Hauschka connects on a 54-yard field goal to give the Bills a 17-0 lead. The defense continues to hold strong. The Bills offense connects again. This time it's Barkley in a goal to go situation, hitting left tackle Dion Dawkins as an eligible receiver for a 7-yard touchdown and a 24-0 lead. The Jets started to move the football, but Matt Milano picked off McCown as the defense delivered again. The Bills put together a 7-play 54-yard drive capped by LeSean McCoy's second touchdown of the day and a 31-0 lead. The Jets add a field goal before the half. Bills lead 31-3.
THIRD QUARTER
The Jets are able to come out and get in the end zone. Isaiah Crowell capped a 73-yard touchdown drive with a 5-yard TD run to make it 31-10. Bills come back. Barkley leads a 65-yard drive and caps it with a terrific 8-yard pass to Zay Jones for a TD and a 38-10 lead.
FOURTH QUARTER
The Bills defense continues to cause problems for the Jets. Josh McCown was picked off by Micah Hyde. Stephen Hauschka caps the scoring with a 31-yard field goal. Bills win it 41-10.
