BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Solar Eclipse is 14 days away, and many people may be traveling to the Buffalo area to view the phenomenon.
In preparation for what is expected to be a really busy day in Buffalo, Forest Lawn and Lakeside Cemetery have both announced that they will be closed on April 8.
The cemeteries said in a press release "Neither cemetery is designed as a venue for large gatherings, and because they are active cemeteries, the Forest Lawn Group’s priority is to ensure the safety and privacy for funeral services."
Both will reopen to the public on Tuesday, April 9 at 8:30a.m.
