NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A brewery that's made a name for itself in northern Niagara County for years, has opened a location in North Tonawanda.
Woodcock Brothers unveiled its new location in the Wurlitzer Building on Niagara Falls Boulevard Thursday.
The brewery officially opens to the public at 11am Friday morning with the owners promising to bring the great beers and food they serve in Wilson down to the lumber city.
"We understand that Wilson is a wonderful community, but it's a little bit of a drive from here and we felt that if we moved a little bit farther south, we could increase our market share," said Mark Woodcock. "This is a great community, a great location, 50-some thousand cars a day drive past here, so how better can you expand your brand than that? "
The brewery plans to experiment more with brews there to see what people enjoy, and add the more popular ones to its line.
