BUFFALO, N.Y. — A lucky winner purchased a top-prize ticket for the June 19 Take 5 Midday drawing-worth $9,135.
The winning ticket was sold at the Tops Friendly Markets store located at 2351 Maple Road.
This win adds to a running count of lucky tickets that have been sold in Western New York so far this year. In past months, winning tickets have been purchased in Tonawanda, Newfane, and Hamburg.
The New York Lottery says Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of numbers ranging from one through 39. If won, a game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date the ticket was drawn.
Drawings are televised daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
