BUFFALO, NY -- A popular waterfront restaurant is getting a major upgrade.
The Hatch at the Erie Basin Marina is expanding and renovating. This means that it is going to stay open year round.
There will be a new 80-seat indoor addition to The Hatch. There will also be a new concrete outdoor patio. Both are expected to be finished by September.
The restaurant will remain open during the construction process.
Mayor Byron Brown helped announce the expansion and renovation Tuesday morning. He believes the changes are yet another way that will attract more people to the marina.
