It all began with Gary Papa, Michael DeGeorge, Wes Goforth and Ed Kilgore…that small Sports Department at Channel 2 in the early 80's. As a Canisius College intern, those men patiently walked me through my early lessons of television journalism. They were thorough, competitive and passionate. I have tried all my career to live-up to those high standards.

I must have made a decent impression. Ed put in a good word for me when I applied and was hired at Channel 2 in 1990. (Thanks again, Ed.) For a while, I anchored the weekend newscasts with a couple folks you should be familiar with: Maryalice Demler and Stu Boyer. I would part a few years later, but I always felt…somehow…I'd be back.
After a long run with the Fox News Channel, I have the job I've always wanted, investigative reporter at the station where I got my start: 2 On Your Side. It's humbling to join a powerhouse news organization which happens to be my adopted hometown.
