BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mark Talley lost his mother, Geraldine, in the Tops mass shooting that left nine people dead on 5/14.
He wrote a book called "The Day the Devil Came to Buffalo" to share his perspective of 5/14 to others and share his pain and rage with the world.
Talley's book has now been donated to Buffalo Public Schools for students to read. He says he knows the book will be a difficult read for children, but he adds that the bad parts of history are still history, and more importantly Buffalo history.
