BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two memorials in Buffalo will honor the victims of the 5/14 mass shooting at Tops on Jefferson Avenue.
While the memorial outside the Tops store was unveiled Tuesday, the commission unveiled its design choice on Monday.
Its exhibit is called "Seeing Us." It was designed by Jin Young Song and Douglass Alligood. The memorial will consist of ten connected pillars, with each pillar paying tribute to each of the ten people killed on that day in 2022.
