Snowvember 2 Remember: First-Responder "Family" Comes From Far And Wide

2 On Your Side sat down with five of the first-responders who answered the call for mutual aid during the Snowvember storm.

We look back at the storm with a few of the many emergency personnel who traveled from all over to help us dig out.

LOCKPORT, N.Y. - It was a bright, sunny day in Niagara County last November 18th, but dozens of police officers, firefighters and volunteers left their own communities to answer the call of their brothers and sisters battling the snow a few dozen miles to the south.

They remember seeing the dark ominous lake-effect plume coming off of Erie, blanketing many of the suburbs to the south and east of Buffalo. They knew there were people who needed their help. They knew their comrades in emergency services needed their help too.

A year after the Snowvember storm that dropped up to 8 feet of snow in some areas, we look back with a few of the folks that dropped everything to help us dig out.
