Queen City Landing proposal adds more residential and public space

The project’s development price tag has risen from its original $83 million to $100 million and, now $180 million.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Gerry Buchheit has revised the Queen City Landing project to phase in more residential units and additional public access space, hiking the price tag to an estimated $180 million.

According to details obtained by Business First, Bucheit's request for planned urban development status includes details about the project’s later phases. For the city to approve the request, Buchheit had to present a complete master plan for the 20-acre site that sits along Fuhrmann Boulevard near the southern end of the Outer Harbor. Those plans were submitted Thursday to city officials. For more on this story, please visit the Buffalo Business first website.
