KENMORE, NY---Kevin Stocker defeated incumbent Senator Mark Gristanti in the Republican primary for the 60th state Senate District.
Stocker, a Kenmore attorney, lead Grisanti by more than 1,000 votes.
Stocker ran unsuccessfully against Grisanti in 2012.
Grisanti told supporters Tuesday night he's not done yet and thanked his family. He said he will not concede and will be on the November ballot on the Independence line.
