BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mark Poloncarz going to Chicago to serve as a delegate during this week's Democratic National Convention was not a shock. But his selfie with a celebrity wasn't exactly planned.
The Erie County Executive, not long before Vice President Kamala Harris walked on stage to accept her party's presidential nomination Thursday night, posted a selfie he snapped with Lil Jon.
The Atlanta rapper, as you might recall, created a buzz during Tuesday night's festive roll call, when he descended through the United Center seats to the floor while performing "Turn Down for What," a 2013 hit song with DJ Snake.
That roll call used songs that were unique to each state and territory, and Lil Jon helped represent Georgia's delegation.
