Congressional Republicans and Democrats may be taking action in the case against Rep. Chris Collins (R-Clarence).
The House Ethics Committee announced Thursday that it has voted unanimously to establish an investigative subcommittee to look into the insider trading accusations against Collins.
It's a step forward in the investigation that started last October, and it could lead to Collins being censured or removed from office, though they've delayed their probe until the criminal case wraps up.
Collins was arrested in August after a federal grand jury indicted him on insider trading charges, as well as lying to federal agents.
