BUFFALO, N.Y. — Early voting for the June 25, 2024 local, state and federal primary begins on June 15 and runs until June 23, 2024.
In Erie County, there will be a reduced number of early voting polling sites because not every district in the county will have a Primary race.
For early voting in Erie County, only 19 of the 38 early voting polling sites will be open. Since there is no full county-wide election, on Primary Day, only 74 polling sites will be open.
There is a Republican Primary in the 147th Assembly District, which includes the towns of Alden, Aurora, Boston, Colden, Concord, Eden, Elma, Evans, Marilla, North Collins, Sardinia, Wales, and portions of Brant, Collins, and Orchard Park in Erie County. There are also Democratic, Republican, and Conservative Party county committee primaries in several communities across Erie County, as well as Republican town justice primaries in Collins and North Collins and a Conservative town justice contest in Collins.
In Niagara County, those eligible to vote in the Primary can vote early if they reside in the City of Lockport and the following towns: Cambria, Hartland, Lewiston, Town of Lockport Election Districts 1, 2, 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, & 17, Town of Newfane, Porter, Royalton, Somerset and Wilson.
For Chautauqua County voters, only registered Conservatives will be able to vote in the Primary. No other parties are running in the primary.
In Cattaraugus County, There will be primaries in the Town of Farmersville and City of Salamanca Ward 5 only.
In Genesee County, there will be a Republican Primary for the 24th Congressional District. Town of Byron Republicans will also vote in the primary for a Town Councilperson.
For Allegany County, Democrats will vote on a candidate for the Town of Belfast Democratic County Committee Member and Republicans will vote for a Town of Hume Republican County Committee Member. In the Town of Wirt, Republican voters will select a Republican Council Member TFV

To see if you are eligible to vote in the Primary, check your local Board of Elections in your county.
If you want to vote in the June 25, 2024 primary, you will need to have registered to vote by June 15, 2024. Mailed applications and in-person application must be received by June 15, 2024.
The deadline to change your party has already passed.
Those that are casting 'early mail-in' ballots for the primary must be postmarked no later than June 25, 2024.
If you are planning to register to vote in the November 5, 2024 General Election, mailed applications and/or in-person registrations must be received by October 26, 2024.
