BUFFALO, N.Y. — The race to rally voters is coming to a close, with only two days left until Western New Yorkers make their voices heard in races locally, statewide, and nationally.
Both Erie County Democrats and Republicans are urging voters to head to the polls.
"Here in Western New York and Erie County, we have critical down ballot races, we're trying to shine a light on that we've got important races that are going to touch people's lives everyday in our community," said Jeremy Zellner, Erie County Democratic Committee Chair.
Rallying cries in what many are considering the election of a lifetime.
"This is, I believe, the most important election of anybody's lifetime and you got to be participating in the process," said Michael Kracker, Erie County Republican Committee Chair.
Though the push until Tuesday continues, Erie County has recorded a large number when it comes to early voting numbers.
According to the Erie County Board of Elections, over 15,000 ballots were cast on Saturday, the eighth day of early voting, bringing the total number of early votes to 133,479.
