BUFFALO, N.Y. — Early voting in New York wrapped up Sunday with nearly three million voters casting their ballots early in the 2024 General Election.
The New York State Board of Elections says 2,985,181 voters cast their ballot during the nine-day early voting. The tally is unofficial until final numbers have certified.
More than 228,000 of those early voters were in Western New York. In most counties, early voter turnout was higher in 2024 than in 2020.
Here's a look at how many early voters there were in each WNY county in 2024.
